Thomas P. Young, PhD, NP, is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 40 years of experience, having begun his career in 1982. Trained at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Dr. Young earned a master’s degree as an adult nurse practitioner before pursuing a PhD focused on the impact of gene mutations in HIV infection. His extensive experience in various specialties, particularly aesthetic medicine, was influenced by his work with trauma and HIV patients, fostering a commitment to innovative and compassionate patient care. Dr. Young is adept at bridging scientific advancements with their practical application in clinical settings, always prioritizing the unique stories and needs of his patients.
